Police Search For Three Suspects Involved In Hit-And-Run
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LA (Sep. 5, 2020) – Police are still searching for three individuals involved in a hit-and-run. The incident was reported to have occurred Thursday morning in North Hollywood at approximately 3:45 a.m..
At the scene of the crash, near the intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Colfax Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported finding two vehicles that appeared to be involved. Both were heavily damaged with one vehicle upturned, resting on its roof.
Additional damage included a power pole and street light that got knocked over, as well as four other vehicles that appeared to either have been sideswiped or hit by the vehicle.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the three males who are believed to be responsible for the damage fled the scene of the collision. The vehicle they used was left at the scene. Authorities did not provide any further description of the suspects, nor did they reveal if the vehicle they left will provide any indication to their identities.
The number of people injured and the extent of their injuries resulting from the hit-and-run is still unclear. It is also unknown whether speed or drugs were contributing factors.
