Los Angeles Motorcycle Officer survives Hit and Run Crash – Early Tuesday morning a motorcycle officer with LAX Police Department was seriously injured by a hit and run driver. He was rushed to a local hospital ER for his personal injuries, and is expected to survive. He was conscious when transported by ambulance.
The motorcycle accident with injury occurred just after midnight. Apparently there were 4 people in the car, and 2 have already been arrested. Two are still outstanding. Los Angeles traffic accident investigators are searching for them. The traffic accident investigation is still underway.
The hit-and-run accident crashed at the intersection of Pershing and Manchester in Playa del Rey, according to LAX traffic investigators. The motorcycle rider suffered personal injuries, including abrasions, and both wrists were broken. His bone fractures were treated, and he is recovering from treatment. It is too early to tell the long term problems associated with his accident injuries.
