Anaheim California Car Accident Fatally Wounds Ten Year Old Boy – Another fatal car accident killed a ten year old Anaheim boy yesterday morning on the 91 freeway in Anaheim, California, and sent nine other injured motorists to local hospitals. There were two freeway car collisions near East Street, one right after the other, and the California Highway Patrol traffic accident investigators are trying to determine if the injury collisions were connected.
The status of the 9 motorists who were injured and transported the emergency room is still not known. The accident involved the carpool lane and several other lanes on the eastbound side of the freeway. The Anaheim Fire Department asked that the entire eastbound 91 be closed while they cleaned up the several cars involved in the deadly crash. There were four car involved in this multi-car fatal accident.
The deceased victim was Salvador Damaso, and he was from Anaheim. The OC Coroner pronounced his passing at the trauma center. He was a passenger in a sedan, which crashed with a pick-up truck. No more details are known at this time, since the accident occurred on a Sunday. There was also another fatal car collision that happened on the 91 freeway a few hours earlier on Sunday morning just after the bars closed. The Orange County CHP, Coroner and Fire Departments had a very busy day.
