Two Motorcycle Accidents Shut Down Inland Empire Freeways – Two unrelated motorcycles accidents this week on the Inland Empire Freeways sent the bikers to the hospital, and both are in critical condition. One motorcyclist remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit after surgery at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.

The first motorcycle vs. automobile accident crashed on the Interstate 10 Freeway eastbound in Pomona, California at the Towne Avenue exit. This car crash happened at 6:00 p.m. The rider went down on his Kawasaki sport motorcycle. Paramedics were on scene and the motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to the local trauma center. The current condition of the bikers injuries remain unclear as of this morning.

The second accident happened Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in Chino, California. Location: 60 WB near Mountain Ave. Details are still unknown, but early reports indicate that the motorcyclist was hit by an automobile on the 60 Freeway westbound at the Mountain Avenue exit. The bike crash involved several vehicles, and caused the freeway to jam. Witnesses exited their vehicles to render aid. The downed biker was pinned underneath a car, and people tried to lift the car off of the victim. Paramedics and Fire Department arrived on scene and rushed the motorcyclist to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where the victim remains in critical condition after surgery. The status on the victims injuries are still pending.
