Sacramento Semi Crash Kills 1, Injures 3
SACRAMENTO, CA (Sep. 8th) – A video has recently emerged showing a semi truck colliding into multiple vehicles on Interstate 5 in Sacramento. The accident occurred Tuesday, September 8th at approximately 6:00 PM.
The video shows an orange semi truck accelerating into traffic that seems to be slowing down. The semi truck maintained its speed and collided into multiple smaller vehicles for a length of time.
The truck appears to not have a driver, suggesting that the driver may have fallen below the dashboard. Nine people were hospitalized and one was killed due to the incident. Eleven vehicles in total were damaged.
The authorities have not yet determined the reason the big-rig did not slow down, according to a report from The Sacramento Bee. The accident report stated that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
