LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (JUNE 4, 2016) – Pedestrian Struck By Hit and Run Car in Montclair Airlifted – Montclair Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver of a dark colored Honda Civic. The vehicle hit a lady on Kingsley St. while she was on a morning walk last weekend. There was a witness to the collision. The witness told accident investigators that the accident occurred at 12:00 a.m. Apparently, the vehicle was either black in color or green.
The pedestrian struck by the vehicle was airlifted by helicopter to the Loma Linda trauma center. The woman is stable, but is still hospitalized for her injuries sustained in the collision. Here personal injury damages are severe. She suffered head trauma, a laceration and her knee has been dislocated.
The male driver apparently knew that he struck the woman. According to the witness to the collision, the man exited his vehicle and looked at the victim that he hit. The lady was face down, lying in the intersection. The driver of the Civic got back in his car and left the scene of the accident. He was last seen driving westbound in Montclair.
