LA VERNE, CA – An injured motorcyclist was airlifted from a traffic crash Friday afternoon in La Verne, authorities said. The La Verne Police Department encouraged people to avoid the crash site near Foothill and D Street where major traffic delays were reported. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced about 2 p.m, that medics from its Special Enforcement Bureau’s high-risk tactical rescue team were providing care to a victim inside a helicopter.
