Pedestrian Fatally Struck on the 91 Closes freeway Just west of the 241 toll road

Pedestrian Killed on 91 Freeway in Anaheim Hills CA – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the 91 freeway in Anaheim Hills just a few hours ago. The condition of the victim was confirmed as deceased. The car vs. pedestrian traffic collision occurred around 10:00 p.m. just west of the 241 toll road that leads into Orange County, California.

The details of the fatal freeway accident are still not being released, as the Orange County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol traffic investigators are still investigating. The serious car accident prompted authorities to close the 91 freeway for several hours while they investigated the scene of the collision. Three lanes and the Fastrak lanes were shut down, causing a late night slow down in both directions.

The driver of the car that struck and killed the pedestrian stayed on the scene after he called 911 to report the tragic event. There was no indication that the driver was at fault in the fatal car v pedestrian crash.
